Day One - Week Two

After enjoying some very delicious treats on the weekend, I am back to eating a little better this week. I tried steel cut oats for breakfast this morning. No. Just no. Now I feel like that was a huge waste but mom and dad like oatmeal so I think I'll give them what's left. Not even putting frozen fruit in it improved it. It isn't really the taste, I mean I can dress it up and whatnot, it's all about the textures. I have major issues with certain food textures and this is one of them. I kind of have to prepare my brain for it and while I'm eating it, shut it off so it doesn't turn my stomach. I'm the same way with Jello, cooked carrots and peas. Pretty much anything mushy or slimy. I haven't noticed a huge difference in my stomach. I was hoping this way of eating would clear up some of the troubles that I have. Perhaps I need to do it for a little longer to really notice a difference. Thankfully, no gallbladder issues and I'm hoping it stays that way until I can have it out.
