Day 9 - Snow Day

I would be lying if I said I was hardcore with things today. I've been a little slack. I had an extra piece of toast for breakfast this morning and the bread that we eat is amazing but so terrible for you. Full of cals and carbs but oh so tasty. I had a whole wheat wrap for lunch so that wasn't too bad. I just seem to be having a hard time letting the bread go this time around. The last time I gave it up no problem at all. I need to get some alternatives for breakfast. I really don't like the texture of oatmeal but I will eat it if I have to. Fresh fruit (produce really) is hard to come by here, at least the good stuff and even more so when it isn't in season. Smoothies are good so I might give them a try again. 

We had an unexpected snow storm/snow day today. I really want to go out and shovel the driveway as a way of getting a workout in but I didn't bother. I have to make sure I do something tonight, even if it's 15 mins. It's better than nothing at all. Ha I've even thought about just dancing around the house for a half an hour. I'm not sure why it's so hard to get into an exercise routine this time. Last summer when I was doing it, I was so for it that it was daily. Yeah I've managed to go down once.

Tonight's menu is stuffed chicken breast, broccoli, potatoes and a bit of gravy. Can't wait. Hopefully tomorrow's post is a little better.
