Well, I made it through yesterday without killing anyone. That is also the goal for today, and everyday really. So, how am I feeling? Surprisingly, last night I was feeling half decent. I wasn't hungry, or maybe I was and I just wasn't paying attention to it. I did go to bed early though, always a good way to avoid the late night munchies. Today is a whole other story. Kailyn is sick and didn't sleep very well, which in turns meant that I didn't sleep very well again. Not that this is totally surprising, but it sucks nonetheless. My stomach is doing a lot of gurgling, which according to what I've read, is normal for detoxing. I've also kind of got a bad stomach, but that's so normal for me that it's nothing out of the ordinary or unusual. I've had my smoothie and it was the same as yesterday, not exactly flavourful but not gross either. Not sure what I'm going to have for supper, I'm thinking another smoothie. Yum yum.
UPDATE: Didn't do so good at supper. I was planning on having a roasted chicken but by the time I got to Sobeys, all that was left was chicken breasts fillets. The fried kind. I had that and a half a dozen wedges for supper. Oh well, I was so hungry by that point that I didn't really care and it was frickin' delicious. The good thing is, I'm still in the elimination phase. Hopefully by tomorrow evening, I'll have almost everything I need to go into phase two. Even though this was something that I've eaten on a somewhat regular basis, I haven't eaten that kind of stuff in the past three days so I'm really feeling it tonight. I feel very full and gassy and bloated. It's not hard to feel the difference when you start feeding your body the good kind of stuff. While I don't have all kinds of boundless energy, I do feel lighter on my feet.
