I'm running out of title ideas. Anyway, for the past few weeks, my eating habits haven't been the greatest. I have had a few says where I've gone over my calorie count, some days worse than others. I haven't put any weight on but I was definitely feeling gross, heavier and just overall blah. Everyday, I would have a tea and half a chocolate chip muffin from Tim's. The past three weekends, I've eaten McDonald's twice and pizza twice. Now, not only does this lead to a person feeling kinda blah but it's definitely not good for the bank account. So, Monday I decided to try a meal plan. I don't like to say diet but I guess it is. Anyway, all it is basically is cutting out bad carbs and processed food and eating lots of protein and good carbs/fats. The food list is very simple, nothing too crazy or far fetched and the meals are very easy.
Sunday I picked up a few groceries for it but I ran out of money before I could get everything I wanted. The plan is for 21 days (3 weeks). The first week is a cleanse, the second week you have some good carbs and the third week is a cleanse. It's also about eating six small meals a day. Now, I find it hard to do that this week because I don't have everything I needed. But I'm making do with what I have. I will say that I have been hungry but when I feel that way, I just drink some more water. Yes, I'm very waterlogged. When I get paid on Friday, I'll be able to pick up the rest of the food that I need to have. The only thing I'm not excited about it the oatmeal. I can't stand the texture. But I'll deal with it for the week.
I've been enjoying lunches, I cooked up some chicken breast on Monday and have been having that with baby spinach. I do cheat a little because I can't eat my spinach plan, I've been putting a little bit of a raspberry vinegrette on it for a bit of taste. Monday and Tuesday, I cooked fish for supper and had veggies. Monday was my first time having salmon and I have to say, it wasn't bad and I will definitely have it again. Last night was cod. Tonight I've got extra lean ground beef, I'll make rice for the kids and broccoli for myself. Thank goodness for Frank's Hot Sauce!
I'm very excited about this plan, even though the past two days all I can think about is carbs. I've been dying for bagels and muffins and pizza and nachos. I do plan on rewarding myself with a big feed of wings when this is all said and done. I also plan on making this a regular habit, maybe not cooking chicken breasts everyday for lunch but definitely less bad carbs and more veggies. Also, less takeout because that's been happening way too often the past few months and it's not good for anyone and I'd like to actually have a little money in the bank every now and again.
I took a picture on Monday in a form fitting dress, a side on view and at the end, I'll do the same. I also took measurements.
Starting waist: 37"
Starting hips: 47"
