Obsessed

For the past week and a half, I have been obsessed with food. Junk food mostly. I'm not depriving myself of it, except for the takeout, this month but I have definitely cut back on it big time. In the run of a month, it isn't uncommon to eat pizza once a week, McDonald's on the weekend and nachos at least twice a week although I have had times when it's been four times a week. Yikes! That kind of thing is something that would definitely catch up to me and put me right back to where I was two years ago. I'm not about to go back there. I've read that most people put the weight back on within three to five years, so I'm kind of in the middle of that time frame. It's still absolutely a struggle, sometimes daily but mostly it's just weekly. Yesterday wasn't the best day, food wise. I snacked a lot throughout the day and ate three brownies before bed. I couldn't stop thinking about food. It was rough because even though I was eating good stuff, I wasn't feeling satisfied. I think that's why I kept finding things to snack on because even though I wasn't hungry, my brain was screaming "EAT ALL THE THINGS". Here's to a better day today.
